Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Health - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus).
Location:
Eloy, AZ. Job Type: Travel Contract. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Pay: 2,084.76/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts).
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care within the correctional setting.
- Monitor chronic conditions and assist with preventive health programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Educate patients on health management and promote wellness initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols while providing compassionate care.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in correctional health, emergency, or acute care preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills.
