Kernodle Clinic, part of Duke Health's community-based network, is recruiting Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine physicians for two current opportunities in Alamance County, North Carolina: a traditional outpatient Family Medicine role in Elon and a Walk-In Clinic (Urgent Care) role in Burlington.

This combined posting allows Family Medicine physicians to explore multiple practice settings within one respected, physician-led organization.

• Family Medicine Clinic - Elon, NC (Outpatient only)
• Walk-In Clinic (WIC) - Burlington, NC (Urgent Care)

• Outpatient practice with a 4-day workweek
• Approximately 15-18 patients per day
• Dedicated nurse or medical assistant; two exam rooms per provider
• Abridge AI Scribe to reduce documentation burden
• On-site labs; radiology available at a nearby clinic
• Light call shared across the team
• Employer retirement contribution of 13.2%
• 6 weeks' vacation annually
• New multi-specialty building planned for Fall 2026

• 3-day workweek
• No call
• Join a stable team of 4 physicians and 2 APPs
• Urgent care and primary care experience required
• Abridge AI Scribe support

Kernodle Clinic is Duke Health's largest community-based multi-specialty practice, with physicians holding clinical faculty appointments at Duke University. The clinic has served the Burlington area for 75 years and has been affiliated with Duke University Health System since 2013.
