OverviewThe Director of Business Development is a senior leadership role focused on expanding Doc Rite’s facility partnerships while supporting and developing a high-performing business development team. This role combines strategic planning, hands‑on leadership, and data‑driven decision‑making to support sustainable growth. We are looking for a leader who balances empathy with accountability, someone comfortable guiding teams, and managing multiple territories.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support the Business Development team, fostering a collaborative, motivated, and results‑driven culture.
- Shape and evolve Doc Rite’s business development strategy, including territory planning, pipeline development, and market expansion.
- Develop scalable, efficient sales processes that support long‑term facility partnerships and multi‑state growth.
- Drive both individual and team success in securing new Skilled Nursing Facility partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with SNF administrators, regional leaders, and corporate decision‑makers.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term success for new facilities.
- Serve as a collaborative, strategic voice within Doc Rite’s leadership team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of business development experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role within healthcare or post‑acute care.
- Strong understanding of the skilled nursing facility landscape, including decision‑makers, sales cycles, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience managing multi‑territory or multi‑state sales teams.
- Strategic, data‑informed thinker with a modern, relationship‑centered approach to healthcare business development.
- Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership.
- Empathetic, confident leader with strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
