Bookkeeper - Manufacturing Experience

Position Overview

My client is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to help maintain and establish their internal books. My client is a family owned manufacturing and distribution company located around the Elmwood area. The person in this position formerly held the role for 5+ years. The ideal candidate will have experience with family businesses.

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year

8 AM – 5 PM

Education:

No Degree Required

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee ADP payroll processing, tax filings, and related reporting requirements while maintaining meticulous records.
• Maintain organized financial records for audits, governmental reporting, and internal review purposes.
• Supervise administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating vendor relationships, and supporting team communication.
• Assist with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives to support organizational goals.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial policies and procedures while continuously seeking process improvements for efficiency.
