All about Small Formats:
We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

What you will gain: the role can provide you with the skills and experience of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process efficiency & improvement), and supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and achieve sales goals.

Note:

this role often involves working in all departments, maintaining stock, assisting with truck unload, merchandising, price changes, inventory accuracy, backroom tasks, safety compliance, and supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up services, while complying with applicable laws.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs and solve issues.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to improve guest experience.
• Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption.
• Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned and in stock.
• Assist with truck unload and stock product to the sales floor.
• Make changes to sales floor merchandise displays; conduct weekly price changes and ensure accurate signing.
• Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support major transitions and maintain store cleanliness and safety (including waste, carts, RVM maintenance, spills).
• Execute fills and organize reserve product from all departments.
• Process inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy; complete backroom audits.
• Operate powered equipment if certified; maintain backroom organization and equipment guidelines.
• Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks; demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) with compliance to laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.
