This
weekend-only role is designed as supplemental income
and is ideal for candidates looking for
consistent Saturday/Sunday work
caring for pets in a structured, independent field role.
Applicants may choose
one preferred shift or indicate flexibility based on coverage needs:
- Morning + Midday Route
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Afternoon/Evening + Late Visits
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Flexible Coverage
- Willing to work
either shift
based on weekend demand.
- Private dog walks and in-home pet visits
- Feeding, fresh water, litter care, and medications as needed
- Basic home care for vacation clients
- Send visit updates and photos through our mobile app
Weekend shifts include
two visit blocks (split shifts)with breaks between routes. Schedules are designed to keep travel time efficient and local, however we find candidates that live within a reasonable commuting distance to our central service area find the role most manageable/are able to utilize break time between visit blocks best. Reliable personal transportation is required for traveling between client homes during each shift.

- Have reliable transportation and live within a reasonable commute of our service area
- Can commit for
at least 6-12 months - Enjoy working outdoors in all weather
- Holiday availability is required, as pet care needs continue during major holidays
- Successful candidates must be willing to complete reference checks, a background check, and a drug screening as part of the hiring process
- $15-$17/hour base pay
- With tips averaging $18-$22/hour
- Mileage reimbursement (72.5/mile)
- Paid training + Pet CPR/First Aid
