Pet Care Specialist – Morning Route; Part-Time

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Weekdays + Optional Weekends

Floofins & Company is a family-owned, professional dog walking and pet-sitting company serving Elmhurst, Lisle, La Grange, Wheaton, and nearby communities.

This part-time role is designed as supplemental income and works especially well for retirees, freelancers, or anyone seeking a
predictable morning + midday route with independent field work.

• Private neighborhood dog walks
• Feeding, fresh water, litter care, and basic pet care
• Medication administration when required
• Send visit updates and photos through our mobile app

Because this role typically includes
two visit blocks per day/a split shift
, candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance to the central service area tend to find the role most comfortable and sustainable. Reliable personal transportation is required for traveling between client homes during each shift.

• Have consistent
  morning availability (6am-2pm)
• Are punctual, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Enjoy routine, structure, and outdoor work in all weather
• Have reliable transportation and live within a reasonable commute of our service area
• Can commit for6-12 months
• Holiday availability is required, as pet care needs continue during major holidays
• Successful candidates must be willing to complete reference checks, a background check, and a drug screening as part of the hiring process

• $15-$17/hour base pay
• With tips averaging $18-$22/hour
• Mileage reimbursement (72.5/mile)
• Paid training + Pet CPR/First Aid Certification
