Hourly Pay Range

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights
  • Position:
    Patient Service Rep and Medical Assistant - Pediatric Gastroenterology

  • Location:

    120 Spalding, Naperville, IL

  • Full Time: 40 hours/week

  • Hours:

    Monday
    - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Required Travel:
    Travel to other sites such as Elmhurst based upon department need

What you will do
  • Answer phones

  • Schedule appointments

  • Collect co-payments

  • Complete patient registration

  • Provide other administrative support to the physician practice

  • Check in and check out patient

  • Verify insurances

  • Greet patients and escort them to exam room

  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit

  • Provide front office support as needed

  • Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight

  • Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.

  • Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

  • Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience:

    One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
