TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator for a travel assignment at a highly respected healthcare facility in Elmhurst, Illinois. This evening‑shift leadership opportunity is ideal for certified technicians with production management experience who want to ensure high‑quality instrument sterilization and departmental efficiency in a dynamic hospital environment.

• Oversee and manage the daily workflow of the sterile processing department.
• Supervise and mentor technicians to maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate decontamination, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and trays.
• Conduct quality audits and maintain documentation per hospital and industry standards.
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and support teams to meet daily operational goals.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Monitor inventory, troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
• Leadership or production coordination experience preferred.
• Active BLS and CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
