Job SummaryThe Senior FP&A Analyst will join Burroughs during a period of transformation and growth, supporting a finance organization that is actively modernizing its reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities. This role reports directly to the VP Finance and partners closely with executive leadership, providing detailed, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the business.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed financial analysis at the departmental and GL account level
- Own variance analysis and clearly articulate drivers, trends, and root causes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning for a complex service-based organization
- Analyze high-volume invoicing activity, including service contracts, credit memos, and project billing
- Own inventory analysis and ensure accuracy and accountability
- Partner with accounting to ensure operational activity translates accurately into financial results
- Build and maintain Excel-based models, pivot tables, and reports for leadership
Skills and Abilities
- Strong FP&A or analytical finance background with a detail-oriented mindset
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Ability to independently investigate variances and explain the 'why' behind the numbers
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, evolving environment and during system transitions
- This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as computer, laptop, and cell phone.
- Office position.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
