The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We are now hiring for seasonal Park Ambassadors to join our team! A successful Part‑time Park Ambassador is an individual that is friendly, outgoing, confident but also assertive. They are able to communicate in a positive manner and provide customer service and public relations, helping to educate park users on Park District regulations, services, and programs and providing direction when needed.

Park Ambassadors patrol the parks, provide in‑field customer service, and assist patrons with any issues.

• You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois driver’s license.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Hours/shifts vary. Park Ambassadors can be scheduled to work 8–12 hours/week.

• The anticipated starting pay for this position is $16.25/hour.
• This position falls under Pay Grade C with a pay range of $15.50–$26.50.
