Tax Preparer Accountant

Job Description

We are a family owned, full-service accounting firm located in Elmhurst, IL. We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team! This candidate will have 8+ years of accounting tax experience. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities. This is an in-person work position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare business and individual income tax returns.
• Lead client activities for all phases including: bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning & tax projections, and the preparation of income tax returns.
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience preparing business and personal income tax returns.
• Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Quickbooks software proficiency required.
• Pro Series Tax Software proficiency is a plus.
• Detail and deadline oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
