The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new-grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals.

Your Impact- Provide Patient-Centered Care:
Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories to address short- and long-term patient needs while maintaining high-quality, efficient care. - Assess patient health:
Interview patients, perform physical examinations, obtain and study medical histories. - Determine abnormal conditions:
Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results. - Perform therapeutic procedures:
Administer injections and immunizations, suture, and manage wounds and infections. - Educate and counsel:
Explain therapeutic regimens and health information, discuss growth, development, family planning, and wellness. - Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare clear medical records, sign office notes, and maintain EMR records per policy; maintain a safe, clean environment; adhere to infection-control policies; comply with legal and professional requirements. - Collaborate with a Team:
Work with other providers to treat patients and plan dispositions in a timely manner. - Continuing Education & Mentorship:
Act as a clinic leader when the Practice Manager is not in clinic; mentor new-graduate providers and staff; pursue ongoing professional development; serve as a preceptor to new staff.
- Education, Licensure, &
Certifications:
Master’s degree and NP certification; DEA license with no restrictions;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross).
Note:
CPR/ACLS online-only not accepted. - Relevant experience:
Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred. - Strong leadership and teamwork skills; proactive and confident communicator; compassionate, patient-focused; technically proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: HIPAA/OSHA and related regulations; drug knowledge and patient care aids; current methodologies for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
