About The Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral interventions and assist Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in delivering effective treatment plans focused on behavior reduction and skill acquisition.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under BCBA guidance.
- Accurately complete clinical and program-related documentation daily.
- Assist with development and review of data collection tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify behavior-environment relationships and support appropriate interventions.
- Monitor behavior plans and assist with treatment integrity.
- Collaborate with treatment team members including clinicians, shift leaders, and residential staff.
- Participate actively in 1:1 and group supervisions, sharing insights and progress.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors and peers.
- Manage aggressive behavior using approved de-escalation and physical management techniques.
- Support training efforts for staff on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.
- Adhere to the RBT Code of Ethics and maintain all required certifications.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Health and Human Services preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
