Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About The Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral interventions and assist Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in delivering effective treatment plans focused on behavior reduction and skill acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under BCBA guidance.
  • Accurately complete clinical and program-related documentation daily.
  • Assist with development and review of data collection tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify behavior-environment relationships and support appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor behavior plans and assist with treatment integrity.
  • Collaborate with treatment team members including clinicians, shift leaders, and residential staff.
  • Participate actively in 1:1 and group supervisions, sharing insights and progress.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors and peers.
  • Manage aggressive behavior using approved de-escalation and physical management techniques.
  • Support training efforts for staff on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.
  • Adhere to the RBT Code of Ethics and maintain all required certifications.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Health and Human Services preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
