!

We currently have openings for part-time "Weekend Warriors" with flexible weekend schedules to work around your needs.

Kids Peace is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to providing help, hope, and healing to children facing a variety of challenges. Our residential facility on Graham Lake in Ellsworth serves as a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and overcome obstacles. As a Childcare Worker at Kids Peace, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for children and adolescents.

• Providing direct care and supervision to residents
• Building positive relationships with the children and promoting their emotional and social development
• Assisting with daily routines, including mealtime, bedtime, and recreational activities
• Collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with children or in a residential facility is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
• Must pass background checks
