As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

  • 7:00AM-4:00PM SUNDAY - WEDNESDAY (36 HOURS PER WEEK)
  • 7:00AM-4:00PM WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY (27 HOURS PER WEEK)
  • 7:00AM-4:00PM ON-CALL SCHEDULE
• Competitive hourly wage of $30.00 / HOUR (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to provide DD-214 if Military.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have a minimum of 2 years as an Armed Security officer or Military, Law Enforcement experience.
• You have a security license or can obtain one.
• You have an active wear and carry license.
• You have reliable transportation.
• You have a CPR, AED & First Response certification or can obtain one.
• You may be subject to an agility test.
