OverviewThe position is described below. If you want to apply, follow the employer’s application process. The role focuses on providing an industry-leading client service experience through the development and expansion of new and existing client relationships. It includes delivering financial solutions based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth opportunities. Cross-training to perform required teller duties as needed may occur.
Responsibilities- Provide routine client maintenance, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services and developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
- Support the sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
- Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings, training classes and web-based learning.
- Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
- Lead sales initiatives within the branch and serve as an expert resource.
- Provide professional client service with a courteous, proactive approach while conducting transactions and uncovering client needs.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check and ongoing regulatory requirements
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional overnight stays
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional customer service demeanor
- Experience discussing, recommending and selling deposit, credit and retirement products
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures
The annual base salary for this position is $45,760-$65,000. Additional incentive pay is available.
