Job Overview
Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City (ECEAH) in Ellicott City, MD, located 30 minutes outside Baltimore and one hour outside Washington, D.C., is seeking a full‑time or part‑time emergency veterinarian to join our team. ECEAH is one of the oldest emergency animal hospitals in the community and is known for its collaborative, positive culture and exceptional medical care.

- Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available.
- Hours of operation:
Monday – Sunday, 24/7/365 including holidays.
- Close‑knit, family‑oriented, skilled and experienced team of doctors.
- Large, skilled support staff dedicated to providing the best medicine possible to clients and patients.
- 3:1 doctor‑to‑technician ratio.
- Strong support from the practice's Regional Manager.
- 17 skilled technicians and assistants.
- Quality management with strong mentorship for new graduates.
- Low turnover team that works and collaborates extremely well together.
- A diverse small animal and exotics caseload.
- Close to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore City.
- Full or part‑time experienced emergency veterinarian.
- New graduates seeking mentorship and experienced veterinarians welcome.
- Collaborative veterinarian who keeps up to date on new developments in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an AVMA‑accredited university upon hire.
- Current DEA license or obtained upon hire.
- Active Veterinary State license upon hire.
