Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ellicott City, MD, for a Registered Veterinary Technician at Skylos Sports Medicine. Responsibilities include providing outstanding care to patients, assisting in medical procedures, administering anesthetics, and supporting orthopedic and rehabilitation treatments. You will also engage in client education, helping clients understand their pets' care and treatment options. Collaboration with a team of professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Animal Care and Pet Care to ensure the well-being of patients
- Competence in Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology to assist in medical procedures and surgeries
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide Client Education to support informed decision-making
- Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician is required
- Prior experience in a similar role or in a specialty veterinary practice is beneficial
- Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills
