Overview
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to attract, hire, and retain top nursing and allied health talent. As an integral part of our team, the Healthcare Recruiter will use research and consultative skills to deliver exceptional service to clients and candidates alike. This role requires creativity, interpersonal savvy, and a strong focus on relationship-building with hiring managers to address their needs, develop a robust candidate pipeline, and ensure efficient execution of the hiring process.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and employment regulations, with a preference for candidates with an allied health or RN background and recruiting experience in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities- Identify, recruit, and develop a talent pipeline for nursing and allied roles.
- Assist in developing and implementing our ongoing recruiting strategies.
- Responsible for prospecting and new client outreach
- Create and update job descriptions
- Full cycle recruiting from candidate sourcing to assisting with onboarding
- Consistently work to create a pipeline of candidates ready to join the company
- Network within the industry, HR field, and associations to build a strong network of candidates
- Help to strengthen Cuready’s reputation as an "employer of choice" within the healthcare staffing industry.
- Research and recommend new and innovative recruiting and hiring systems and tools
- Maintain all applicant data consistent with state and federal laws in addition to company policies and procedures
- Perform supplemental reference checks
- Prepare and send offer letters and rejection letters
- Assist in preparing new hire onboarding as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree is ideal or Associates degree with and 2-4 years of experience in healthcare recruiting.
- Previous Allied Health or RN experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be a fast paced, independent, individual with a drive to succeed.
- Must be able to handle high volumes of activity at one time
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving, motivating, and training abilities
- Experience with government solicitations, GSA contracting, and federal hiring regulations preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong recruiting experience, especially the ability to build a territory/portfolio of people
- Some travel may be required
