We are currently looking for a Security Officer to be part of the Security Department in our Distribution Centre based in Ellesmere Port. The ideal candidate will be passionate about security, with a good understanding of the industry. This is a 48‑hour day‑shifts position.

• Control all access to the site
• Book vehicles in and out of the site
• Write incident reports
• Conduct vehicle and colleague searches
• Provide rapid response where security intervention is needed
• Complete internal and external patrols throughout shifts
• Perform daily and weekly audits
• Engage in physical activity as required by the job

Experience in a similar role, strong written communication abilities, and knowledge of Microsoft Excel. A good understanding of Data Protection laws and Health & Safety regulations is preferred, along with experience in conflict management and incident reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong, resilient personality and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. While an SIA licence is desirable, it is not essential.
