. This role takes place at our Ellesmere Port clinic, where we operate a 24‑hour service. You will work the nightly shift (1830‑0730) and be responsible for diagnosing and treating emergency and critical care patients, overseeing the inpatient service, and collaborating with our experienced night nursing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing rapid, competent care for all emergency and critical‑care cases.
- Overseeing the inpatient ward during the night shift.
- Co‑ordinating with the night nursing staff and other veterinary specialists (surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology).
- Using on‑site diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, radiography and CT scans.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to clinical protocols.
