Role Overview

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join a GP Surgery on an ad-hoc basis. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to work flexibly while delivering high-quality patient care.

NHS Smartcard Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 20–30 minute patient appointments
  .
• Administer immunisations (Imms) and Vitamin B12 injections
  .
• Perform health checks
  , including blood pressure and lifestyle assessments.
• Carry out vascular and diabetic reviews
  .
• Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety standards.
• Provide compassionate and professional care to all patients.
• Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Competent in immunisations, B12 injections, and health checks.
• Knowledge of vascular and diabetic review procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
