- Reconciling time & attendance recording, including coordination work and other HR lifecycle administrative tasks.
- Supporting the creation and preparation of relevant statistics for management and Head Office.
- Processing orders and purchasing material required at the plant, including related tasks.
- Supporting ongoing general secretarial work, managing the switchboard and reception duties.
- Working closely with those responsible (internal and external) for Progroup’s success through teamwork, coordination, and cooperation.
- Supporting other project‑related tasks as appropriate, depending on urgency and line manager instructions.
- Coordinating with external contacts, e.g. the employers’ liability insurance association and external firms.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload, initially under supervision, with skill in prioritising tasks.
- Good computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal, and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work to standard processes whilst still using your initiative to develop new or existing processes and to streamline, in support of our new IT initiatives as they come on board.
- Ability to multitask.
- Positive, flexible, and can‑do attitude with willingness to deliver any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- A commitment to ensuring adherence to HR and operational compliance, processes, and policies.
- A highly trustworthy and confidential individual who recognises and respects colleagues’ and Progroup’s right to privacy and commercial confidentiality.
- Duration: 2 years
- Working hours:
Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm - Lunch: ½ hour (unpaid)
- Salary:
National Apprenticeship Wage plus 20% - Holidays:
Statutory plus 5 days - Apprenticeship level:
Intermediate - Level 2 (GCSE) - Possible
