Associate Criminal Defense Attorney

Yakima & Ellensburg, WA | $80k – $120k + bonuses + potential partnership track

What You’ll Do

• Own a caseload of traffic and non-DUI misdemeanors in Yakima & Kittitas Counties. If you have experience or interest in other types of cases, let's chat! This area is ripe for new attorneys in all areas of the law.
• Team up on DUI cases with Tony Swartz — learn proven defense strategies.
• Draft motions, negotiate with prosecutors, and take cases to trial when needed.
• Keep clients informed with clear, timely communication.

What We’re Looking For

• Active WA bar membership.
• Strong organization — juggle deadlines without constant oversight. We currently utilize one full time assistant, but could hire another as needed.
• Courtroom confidence; criminal-law experience preferred but not required.
• Genuine commitment to protecting clients in a close-knit community.
• Someone who wants to live in a rural area. This isn't a big city, but we're close to Seattle for all of the activities you want to participate in.
