Job Overview
Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time dedicated CDL‑A truck driver to join our team in Elkton, MD. You will drive a day‑cab tractor pulling a dry van to deliver auto parts to various locations in NJ, DE, MD and PA. Shift: 4:00 AM–6:00 AM Monday through Friday with weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit.
Key Responsibilities- Complete deliveries based on the daily manifest and pick up returns as needed.
- Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines.
- Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers.
- Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Hazmat certification required to start or obtainable within 90 days (varies by account).
- Minimum 1 year of recent tractor‑trailer experience.
- Non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card, held or to be obtained.
- 21 years of age or older.
- No more than three moving violations or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.
- Earn 29.75 per hour.
