Nelbud – Maintenance Tech - Commercial Kitchen Ventilation Systems

This position is similar to HVAC but is not HVAC. We move air through various systems, but no heating or cooling is involved. Anybody who is in HVAC, Commercial refrigeration, or related services, please apply. This position will vary from evenings to overnights based on the service call, but is considered a third-shift role.

Who Are We? We are modernizing the ways of Fire Protection, Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Grease Trap Services, and more. Hood – kitchen hood cleaning, technical services, and repair;
Fire – Fire protection & suppression systems;
Grease – grease trap cleaning and line jetting.

• Perform general maintenance on hood ventilators and company equipment
• Inspect ventilation components for damage, unusual wear, or airflow issues
• Clean and maintain the filter housing and equipment during filter replacement
• Maintain records, service reports, and other job-related paperwork
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

• Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance principles
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service jobs
• Knowledge or previous work experience in changing filters and inspections of control systems of air quality ventilation systems
• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided
• Ability to work a variety of shifts - evenings and nights
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places - you will regularly be on rooftops
