Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade
QED Systems, LLC is currently recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join our team at Elkridge, MD to support our customer,
Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT).
- Provides overall oversight for all aspects of logistics and warehouse management for the contract, including inventory control, oversight of system fielding, implementation and execution of logistical fielding support.
- Approves final version of reporting for obsolescence management, maintenance reporting, failure reporting, asset reporting, post fielding reports etc.
- Monitors efficiency of field support personnel and make recommendations regarding co-use of personnel.
- Performs system life‑cycle cost analysis and develop component studies.
- Manages all required inventories and responsible for accurate Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) CDRL deliverables.
- Provides oversight for planning and execution of training support across all programs.
- Implements and enforces warehouse policies and procedures and updates and improves upon the GFE/GFP Management SOP.
- Stays informed of logistics technology advances, and Government policies and apply them to improve logistics processes.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience managing a warehouse for Government property required.

REQUIRED:
Secret
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university required. Degree in Operations management, supply chain management, or related area, preferred.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment required.
- Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Must have experience managing a warehouse for Government property.
Not less than 20% of travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work EnvironmentThis position will be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, government offices, military bases and depots, warehouse/maintenance shops, and/or field environments that include extended periods outdoors.
Physical DemandsPhysical demands of this position include ability to:
- Be independently mobile.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
- Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, and breathing respirators/masks.
- Operate powered vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
- Lift/push/pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of WorkThis is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
