• Serve as a master-level auto tech performing heavy duty work and provide direction, guidance, and technical expertise to shop personnel.
• Perform the responsibilities of a level 1 - level 3 auto tech.
• Perform a wide range of repairs, including brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, safety inspections, AC and major engine work.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Work with individual techs as required to assess specific vehicle needs.
• Provide general guidance/direction or train associates in supporting roles and/or less experienced associates.
• Perform quality control checks on all work; notify supervisor of exceptional or unsatisfactory work.
• Ensure auto maintenance standard operating procedures and activities deliver desired outcomes.
• Identify developmental opportunities in staff.
• Monitor workflow processes and recommend areas to improve productivity.
• Review and approve ordering and disposition of parts, supplies and materials.
• Alert management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• Model safety behaviors and ensure techs comply with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

• Safe driver with a valid driver's license.
• 7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Salary/Hourly: USD 32.31 - 48.46 per hour. Compensation may vary by location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs.
