Master Tech is on the search for Field Mechanics in Elko, NV.
The successful Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized heavy‑duty equipment both in the shop and at large and exhilarating job sites. We are looking for a range of experience working on mining, earth moving, and drilling equipment.
Compensation- $30.00 - $70.00/hour based on experience.
- Relocation assistance and sign on bonuses available.

- 401(k) retirement plan, match up to 6%
- Per diem options, up to $150.00/day.
- $300.00 monthly tool allowance
- Weekly pay.
- 10 on 4 off
- 9 on 5 off
- 8 on 6 off
- Fly-In-Fly-Out options including 14 on 7 off, 20 on 10 off, etc.
- 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
- Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary.
- Valid driver's license with clean record. CDL, or able to obtain one.
