Business Development Director - Elko, NVRAM Enterprise, Inc

Job Summary:

The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the construction industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

This is an exempt, salary position reporting directly to the President of RAM Enterprise, Inc.

The selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Elko, NV area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on networking and client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Resolve customer service issues in conjunction with management.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Understand and communicate product lines and services to customers.
  • Travel as required.
  • Communicate activity reports and obtain quotes from partners and vendors.
  • Understand profit margins and participate in the annual budget process.
  • Assist in scheduling services with customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
