Minimum Requirements
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
  • Must work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and operate certain equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
  • Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
  • Experience with tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, prefabricating, dating, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling, and serving customers.
  • Ability to keep department temperature logs accurately updated and maintained.
  • Skill in stocking and displaying meat items safely and in accordance with company standards secondaires.
  • Experience in checking product quality; ensuring it is rotated properly and fresh.
  • Ability to maintain clean and well‑organized sales areas, back rooms, coolers.
  • Organizational skills to keep carts, tools, and supplies in designated areas.
  • Commitment to keeping floors clean, safe and free from clutter.
  • Strong customer and associate relations skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and fellow associates.
  • Ability to unload trucks, sort orders, and place items in the proper cooler location.
  • Proficiency in washing and sanitizing equipment per company and health department policies.
  • Friendly and welcoming customer interactions.
  • Prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions.
  • Adherence to company policies, especially regarding harassment and discrimination.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high‑paced and stressful environments.
