Job Description

A Registered Nurse in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit provides comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. This includes managing both maternal and newborn care, ensuring safe delivery practices, and providing education and support to families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care.
• Manage labor and delivery processes, including fetal monitoring and interventions.
• Assist in cesarean sections and provide postpartum couplet care.
• Handle OB triage, nonstress tests, and management of complications such as hemorrhages and hypertensive crises.
• Educate patients and families about newborn care and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Nursery.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring.
• Must be flexible and a team player.
