Job Description

The role of the Registered Nurse in Acute Care Services encompasses providing quality healthcare to patients across a diverse population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This position requires a blend of medical and surgical care, telemetry monitoring, and the ability to adapt to various patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute care settings.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within specified timelines after start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
