Overview
Registered Nurse - Charge
Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
- Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensure safe, quality care.
- Report to the Director or Manager of Department as required.
- Education: Associate s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor s Degree in Nursing preferred. - License: Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
