Goldrush - Underground Fixed Maintenance Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION Position Description

We are looking for an Underground Fixed Maintenance Operator within our Goldrush Underground Fixed Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will ensure safe and productive operation of fixed plant equipment, including Surface and Underground Batch Plant and Solid Liquid Separation Plant.

• Conduct work area examinations to identify substandard conditions posing danger to personnel and take corrective action, documenting findings.
• Perform routine equipment inspections to identify conditions or defects that may impact safety, compliance, property or equipment reliability, and mitigate defects (basic repairs as trained).
• Conduct detailed equipment inspections, document deficiencies, and generate work requests (safety equipment and plant equipment).
• Ensure sampling is conducted at designated intervals, processed accurately, and results documented per procedure.
• Operate plants safely and efficiently to meet operational targets.
• Apply LOTO and troubleshoot actions as required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete preventative maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform essential functions, including working in hot or cold weather conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Proven safety and attendance record.
• Knowledge of underground fixed plant equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
