We seek an Maintenance Technician ready for career growth to join our growing people division and help maintain the availability and safe functioning of large mining and support equipment fleets at the Cortez operations.

• Complete routine maintenance activities to ensure the availability and safe functioning of large mining, support equipment fleets.
• Maintain shop areas, tooling and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform daily pre‑shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Two (2) or more years experience maintaining mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military or support equipment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
• Experience handling tires (preferred).
• Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions.
• Lift at least 50 lb.
• Proven safe‑work record and leadership attitude.
• Ability to be a team member in a fast‑paced environment and support safety, environmental, equipment‑protection and production goals.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
