The People Services Director leads and directs all human resources functions within a healthcare environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. This role provides strategic HR leadership, oversees departmental operations, and supports workforce engagement and compliance.

• Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and standards
• Direct and evaluate HR operations and service levels
• Plan and monitor staffing levels, hiring strategies, and performance evaluations
• Prepare and oversee departmental budgets
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements
• Foster professional development within the HR team
• Lead employee relations and workforce engagement initiatives
• Support labor relations activities, including collective bargaining (if applicable)
• Ensure consistent and reliable departmental operations

• Hire, train, and evaluate HR staff
• Conduct performance reviews and corrective actions
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team

• Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field (required)
• Experience in Healthcare Human Resources (required)
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  
  Experience managing budgets and departmental strategy

• Experience in Labor Relations
• Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations
