Clinical Dietitian PRN

Job Description Description

Monitors nutritional care, manages physician ordered therapeutic diets and provides nutrition education to patients. Assists department director with coordination of clinically related department activities.

• Education: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, ADA.
• Other Requirements: Knowledge of principles of normal and therapeutic nutrition at all stages of life; skills in oral communication with the ability to present information appropriate to the level of understanding of different clients/patients; skills in nutrition and dietary assessment techniques and interpretation of data; skills in writing clear, concise entries and interpretation of data; skills in organization and time management;
  
  knowledge of food preparation and production; knowledge of supervisory/instructional techniques.
