Orla Mining is growing, and we’re looking for a detail‑driven Human Resources Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll support key HR processes, keep our operations running smoothly, and help create a safe and supportive workplace for all employees.

Job Duties Human Resources Support
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and update employee data across HR systems.
  • Process employment changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Track required documents, training certificates, and policy acknowledgments.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and vendor coordination.
  • Manage training records in the LMS and support employee programs and recognition.
  • Prepare reports and handle general HR administrative tasks.
Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Coordinate travel for candidates when needed.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding logistics.
  • Assist with mine site onboarding, screenings, and equipment requests.
Office & Administrative Operations
  • Manage mail, packages, and office supply inventory.
  • Route phone and email inquiries professionally.
  • Support building security, vehicle fleet maintenance, and facility upkeep.
  • Coordinate on-site/off-site meetings, events, tours, and travel.
  • Maintain filing systems and prepare meeting minutes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or a similar role.
  • 2+ years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Mining industry experience is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal staff and external partners in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner.
  • Strong prioritization and time‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
