Overview

A historic 70-bed general medical and surgical hospital in the heart of the West Virginia Appalachian Mountains is seeking a BE/BC General Surgery Physician to join their staff.

• The hospital currently supports two surgeons who each work 3 weeks per month (12 weeks' vacation per year).
• 2 days of clinic and 2 days of surgery per week — estimated hours: 24 hours per week of clinical care when not on call and 32 hours per week total when on call.
• Low-volume call responsibilities: 3 - 5 ED consults per week and 1 - 2 emergent surgeries per week.
• 4 day work week.
• Full benefits including 6 weeks PTO and $6,000 for CME.
• EPIC EMR.
