Position Title:

Quality Technician

Wage:

$18-$20/hour

Shift:

1st

Hours:

6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections per customer and internal specifications
  • Conduct dimensional, mechanical, destructive, and non-destructive testing to ensure product and process quality
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and coatings for conformance to specifications
  • Perform titration and pH analysis of washing systems; adjust caustic and acid levels as required
  • Document inspection results, test data, and deviations on appropriate quality records
  • Communicate quality concerns and inspection results to Manufacturing, Shift Supervision, and Quality Management
  • Provide immediate feedback to production leadership regarding part discrepancies
  • Analyze customer concerns and provide viable and non‑viable recommendations
  • Audit manufacturing setups and documentation; make corrections as necessary
  • Assist in developing customer‑specific tests, techniques, and quality requirements
  • Create, maintain, and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts
  • Perform and analyze limited Designed Experiments (DOE)
  • Support ISO‑related activities, including internal and external audits
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment per established procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance or related manufacturing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in basic math and computer applications
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and inspection criteria
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
