Currently hiring FULL-TIME RN or LPN on NOC shift. Additional $2/hr shift premiums and $2/hr weekend differentials may apply. In addition, up to an additional $10/hr for Crisis Shift Pay Premium on designated shifts. RN Salary Range: $36.45 - $47.49 hourly. LPN Salary Range: $27.48 - $35.85 hourly.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for performing professional nursing activities in the care of residents as well as delegating aspects of care delivery to nursing assistants as appropriate and assisting in the completing of performance evaluations for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMA).
RNEducation and Experience
- Associate’s degree in nursing with zero to six months of relevant prior experience. Experience in restorative nursing, long-term care, psychiatric nursing, medical nursing or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Proven experience with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Proven experience with medical terminology.
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license through WI Department of Safety and Professional Services.
- Current BLS CPR certification required within 30 days of start date.
- Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse of individuals or misappropriation of property while in a formal caretaking setting.
- All staff may be called upon to respond to emergency situations assisting residents in their physical positioning.
- All employees may be required to work overtime as determined by the department head.
Education and Experience
- High school plus Technical diploma in practical nursing and zero to six months of relevant prior experience. Experience in restorative nursing, long-term care, psychiatric nursing, medical nursing or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Proven experience in ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages as well as ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts to calculate area, circumference, volume, and/or land measure. Proven experience with medical terminology.
Special Requirements
