Job SummaryReader Precision Solutions is seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide hands‑on support for the daily upkeep, safety, and functionality of the company’s facilities. This role assists in coordinating building maintenance activities, supports preventative maintenance efforts, performs general facility tasks, and helps oversee vendors working onsite. The position balances light technical maintenance work with general facilities responsibilities to ensure a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment that supports manufacturing and office operations.
WorkSchedule
Core work schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:30am – 3:00pm. Individual must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to- Assist with coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs and upgrades
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment
- Identify and report building maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Support and monitor outside contractors, vendors, custodial services, and technicians while onsite
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and supply inventory
- Perform daily morning floor cleaning and basic facility housekeeping
- Assist with snow removal and exterior upkeep as needed
- Set up and tear down shared spaces, training rooms, or other areas for meetings and events
- Assist with facility‑related deliveries or pickups as needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance storage areas
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and site regulations
- Communicate daily activities and facility needs with the Director of Maintenance, Facilities & Reliability
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, as required
- Support larger facility improvement projects as instructed
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, general maintenance, or building support preferred
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems
- Ability to perform light repairs and general building maintenance tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate vendors and follow up on service work
- Safety‑conscious with good judgment and problem‑solving skills
- Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance tasks
- Self‑motivated with a team‑oriented attitude
- Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, as needed

- Vision corrected to 20/20 for close, distance, and peripheral vision with depth perception
