• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates while touring stores and providing feedback; communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, using technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introduces and leads company change efforts by providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
• Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives such as “Store of the Community” and community outreach programs; ensures customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved and develops action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; confirms that expenses are indexed to sales, monitors merchandise presentation and seasonal transitions, ensures inventory flow and operational processes, and implements action plans to mitigate shrink.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and providing recognition; promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
• Coordinates, completes and oversees job‑related activities and assignments by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports company mission, values and ethical standards, and implements related action plans while supporting the Open Door Policy.
• Builds high‑performing teams, embraces differences in people, cultures, ideas and experiences, and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported and connected.
• Acts with integrity, promotes the highest standards of ethics and transparency, supports Walmart’s regenerative mission, and establishes a sense of belonging among associates.
• Delivers results for customers and members, adapts to how, where and when customers shop, applies the EDLP and EDLC business models, and makes data‑driven decisions while balancing short- and long-term priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may also include:
