Cycle Counter​/Inventory Control

*** Position Overview*
* Cycle counter is responsible for cycle counting purchased and WIP parts in warehouse and manufacturing areas with goal of 95% accuracy.  A Cycle Counter will be utilized for reporting certain product line/classification inventory counts, and will aid in inventory count reconciliations as needed.

** Essential Job Functions*
* * Cycle Count purchased and WIP parts

* Cycle Count purchased and WIP parts based upon business need

* Recount Cycle Counted parts as needed to determine root cause of error

* Aid in Month End and Physical Inventory prep and execution as needed

* As the company builds pick lists Cycle Counters will also be utilized in kitting certain products

** Non-Essential Job Functions*
* * Correct part stocking errors and report deficiencies to warehouse supervisor

* Aid in other material group functions as needed (receiving, parts pulling, etc)

* Work in a team setting

* Strong attention to detail

* Some computer system look up and Excel functions

** Requirements*
* - High school diploma or equivalent

- Employee must have good time management skills

- Able to drive a forklift

- Able to read blue prints, pick lists, and bill of materials

- Able to do simple math (counting, adding, multiplying, dividing)

- Able to follow instructions and problem-solve

- Able to stand and walk for 8 hours

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch and or crawl

- Willingness to do outdoor work in winter

** Other Skills/Abilities*
* - Computer skills in Excel preferred

- Previous warehouse experience

- Previous Inventory experience

- Computer skills in Excel and or MRP system preferred

- Forklift experience preferred

- Detail-oriented and organized

- Self-motivated

** PPE Requirements*
* - Safety glasses with approved side shields

- Gloves when lifting or carrying
