Brief Role SummaryA Plant Coordinator for Genesis Products is responsible for developing production plans to achieve the sales plan, customer delivery expectations and inventory objectives for all functional areas. The Plant Coordinator orders and maintains inventory for select materials and drives the development of production schedules. He or She escalates issues as necessary to the appropriate process partner so that forecasted sales and unit production plans for proper on time execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with all functional areas as necessary to ensure that the production plans fulfill customer requirements.
- Maintain internal materials to sufficiently support demand, lead time and inventory investment targets
- Prioritize and schedule production as efficiently as possible
- Set up and communicate cut plans that efficiently convert raw materials to finished products
- Communicate production status, elevate challenges and drive effective results each day in partnership with the Inside Sales department, Manufacturing Staff and the Shipping / Receiving department
- Execute internal inventory management including cycle counts and system reconciliation
- Analyze and assess performance results, recommend continuous improvement solutions and advocate for customer expectations
- Conduct day-to-day reporting within Microsoft Excel and MRP System

- Prefer BS in Accounting, Business, or Engineering
- Prior experience in direct procurement/purchasing is advantageous
- 3+ years of professional experience

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
