SUMMARYThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for cutting plastic sheet material to specified dimensions using a shear, accurately tracking material usage, and ensuring production lines are consistently supplied with the correct materials. This position also includes operating a forklift and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate a shear to cut plastic sheet material according to production specifications.
- Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Supply production lines with sheet material and other required items in a timely manner.
- Track inventory usage through logs or production systems to ensure accurate material counts.
- Operate a forklift safely to move pallets, load/unload materials, and transport sheet stock.
- Monitor material levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to supervisors.
- Inspect materials for quality issues before and after cutting.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper function and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, and staging materials as needed.
- Create a safe work environment
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating a shear or similar cutting equipment is a plus (training may be provided).
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and cut sheets.
- Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.

- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Focus on safety and quality.
Able to work in hot humid environment for extended periods of time as well as around loud noises are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking through out shift. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance and must be able to transport these up to 20 feet. Frequently positions self to maneuver around the part when finishing. Must be able to operate the hand and air tools frequently.
Must be able to work overhead using hand and air tools, lift and carry parts and dump powder boxes.
