EFP Elkhart:
Mold Maintenance Technician
2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)
3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday)
Position Summary:
Mold Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, checking, and setting up molds in a safe manner.
Key Duties
- Set up and prepare molds for each order change
- Perform mold changes
- Clean molds
- Troubleshoot any issues encountered with mold change processes
- Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork
- Complete/participate in all PPS activities as directed by supervisor(s)
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
- Mechanical training/background and subsequent work experience preferred
- Training or experience in air, steam, and water systems
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to use hands and fingers
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb, balance, crawl, squat, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach
