The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and strategic direction of the facility. This role oversees manufacturing and lean initiatives, production scheduling, quality and process control, inventory, warehouse and procurement, yaklaş ve also provides support for corporate with other areas like accounting, human resources, and product development. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management- Provide strong leadership and clear direction to department heads and teams across all functions
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
- Coach, mentor, and develop management staff and future leaders
- Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on‑time delivery
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to improve processes and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Support production planning and capacity management to meet customer demand
- Ensure product quality meets company standards and customer expectations
- Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions
- Support customer satisfaction through reliable operations and consistent performance
- Work closely with accounting to manage budgets, costs, and financial performance
- Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to guide decision‑making
- Drive cost control initiatives without compromising quality or safety
- Support HR functions, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, and training
- Support workforce planning and retention strategies
- Reinforce compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to support production
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a manufacturing facility with 100+ employees
- Proven ability to lead multiple departments and manage cross‑functional teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- 10+ years of experience in managing a facility with 100+ employees
- Experience in wood products, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing (a plus, but not required)
- Background in lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with quality systems and production metrics
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
- Results‑driven with a hands‑on management style
- Problem‑solver with strong analytical skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
